Let's take a walk down the memory lane.. To the times when we all had crushes.. Innocent ones.. The ones we would hope to see walking in the school corridor.. The one who would drag us out from the bed and motivate us to go to school.. The crushes for whom the girls would get ready before stepping out from home and the boys would practice there hello's for just in case...
Following with our eyes until he/she vanishes into the thin air.. Trade our slam books and get them filled.. Deliberately leaving the second page for your crush if he's not accessible.. Those were the times when our heart would skip a beat only at the sight of the person...
Then we all grew up a little.. We started watching movies and started believing in LOVE.. Soulmate.. happily ever after.. Much is to be blamed on the romantic movies by yashraj (No offence, they're still my favourite)..
We all found that perfect mate in our school or college... The mate who was there when you needed it.. The mate who would offer you his ice cream or would light up your day with her smile... The one who always said those sweet nothings and the one with whom we will have late night talks... We say I love you a gazillion times.. Rather we leave no opportunity to say it..
But is that perfect mate really perfect.. For some of us who are really lucky he/she might be it.. you know the real deal.. but for some of us it isn't that perfect as it seemed to be on the story board that we thought we were following..
Hence, starts an era of fights, disappointments and disagreements and eventually parting up of our ways..
The perfect mate was not so perfect for us after all...
We all swear not to fall for someone again... To lock our heart and throw the key in the river.. not literally though... We stop looking out for guys/girls and turn down every offer we get thinking it to be same as the previous one..
Days.. weeks.. and months pass and then we are back up in the game...
All of a sudden there's a cute guy in your tutorial lessons or a hot girl in your class who gives you attention.. You don't wanna spoil things and tell yourself a casual friendship won't harm us.. we'll be careful this time..
The epic saga of long conversations and caring for each other eventually start.. The I love you's are shared again for an exponential gazillion times.. and the story continues..
But the real question is .. Which I love you was true?? The first one after which you got hurt... or the one you said even though you were hurt before...
TO BE Contd...
